Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its own results. Appanoose County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party criminal record profiles.

Outside companies operate the search boxes shown on this website. A partner's privacy policy, rather than this policy, controls information submitted through its tool. Each provider sets its own retention and disclosure rules. Read those terms before sending a query.

Links may lead to the Appanoose County government, Iowa Courts Online, Iowa DPS or DCI, legal resources, and outside search services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's policy governs the visit. Review it before providing personal information.
